I am sure if you are planning on getting married you would be asking yourself, how much you should pay for your wedding videography or photography? I know I asked myself that question when I was planning my wedding.
I also had to ask the question how much I should charge for wedding photography when I began photographing weddings. Here is one thing I know to be true with every business:
“There is hardly anything in the world that some guy cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper. The person who buys on price alone is that guy’s lawful victim.”
Maggie Mays Antiques.
Well here is are some articles that helped me come up with my own decision.

To me, photography is an art of observation, its about the moment, my goal is to be there at that “Moment” to capture it.

Butho & Ntokozo Engagement session
I love shooting engagement sessions. Once in a while I meet with a couple who do not want to do it but that’s fine by me as long as we are having fun right?
There are so many other reasons to do engagement sessions; they have very practical purpose. It gives both the photographer, and couple an opportunity to work together before the wedding day in a less hectic and stressful situation. The added familiarity that is created during the engagement shoot helps everyone feel more relaxed and comfortable with each other on the wedding day, and builds trust between the photographer and the couple. It also gives the couple extra opportunities to not only discuss, but to show the photographer what types of photos they like for their wedding. It is an activity you get to do together, and have memories of.
I don’t like a lot of posing and being told to say cheese, on my shoots. So we pick an activity, or a place to go, that may have meaning to you, or just for fun. Then I get to hang out and take photos of you.

I love african weddings
I always jump at an opportunity to photograph an African wedding. They are all so different and unique in their own way. To us Africans a wedding is a celebration of two families combining together and a reflection of our heritage.
In many families true African wedding customs are changing radically, but there is one thing consistent with all weddings I have had the pleasure to attend: DANCE!
